Important Things to Remember

  • Trash pick-up is Tuesday morning
  • Grass must be cut weekly during the cutting season - 1 notice will be given before management cuts it and bills you.
  • Heat tapes must be plugged in and operational from October 1 - April 30 - If your water meter freezes and breaks a replacement meter costs $300. Check your heat tapes often!

Important Tips to Avoid Frozen Pipes

  • There needs to be heat tape on the water pipe leading from the crock under your home to where it enters the belly of your home. You want the heat tape running as far down in the crock as possible, along the pipe, under and around the meter, and continuing along the pipe until the pipe disappears into the belly of your home.
  • The water meter needs to be encased in the form block which was installed with the new meter.
  • The heat tape that is running along the exposed pipe under your home needs to be wrapped and held to the pipe by grey pipe insulation.
  • Make sure there are no other exposed pipes under your home.
  • Make sure there is no sign of water leaks under your home.
  • If you have an exterior hot water tank access point make sure it is well insulated.
  • All skirting should be up to help block the snow and wind.
